When someone says, “I’m waiting for you with one eye open,” it usually means they’re watching closely, to see if you’ll really do what you said you would. And honestly, that’s how I’ve felt about God sometimes. Like, Lord, I’m trusting You with one eye open, trying to believe, but also trying to make sense of what feels like EXTREME delay.

Whew, Sis, God’s timing will humble you and heal you all at once. Just when you think He’s forgotten, He’ll remind you He’s been in the details the entire time. Every closed door, every pause, every reroute, it wasn’t punishment, it was preparation.

Keep your hopes up, Sis, because hope is straight from God. It’s the fuel that keeps your faith alive and your vision sharp.

Habakkuk 2:3 says it best: “The vision is for an appointed time… though it linger, wait for it.”

Translation? It’s coming.

You might feel like you’re falling behind, but God hasn’t forgotten you. He’s behind the scenes setting up a comeback that’ll make up for every delay. One move of His favor can flip the script, open doors, and push you right into your destiny. Ask me how I know!

I recently walked through a season where everything felt stuck. I was showing up, doing the work, believing… yet nothing seemed to move. Opportunities I thought were “it” fell apart, and I remember being in the shower one night, tears streaming down my face, asking God if He’d forgotten about me.

But God was quietly working. I didn’t realize it then, but He was arranging divine connections that would shift my life in ways I couldn’t imagine. One of those connections was Florenza. I met her simply by showing up, not forcing, not faking, just putting my gifts on display and walking in obedience. She invited me to her podcast, and what started as a simple conversation became a divine collaboration that’s still unfolding.

What I didn’t know then was that God wasn’t denying me, He was developing me. While I was frustrated with the pause, He was positioning me. Every delay was divine. That season taught me that sometimes God slows you down because He’s setting you up.

So now when it feels like nothing’s happening, I remind myself: heaven’s timeline doesn’t run on my impatience. God’s not ignoring me, He’s orchestrating something that’ll make me say, “Only God could’ve done that.”

So don’t trip, trust His timing. He’s never late, just strategic. Your breakthrough’s already in motion, Sis. Stay ready, stay expectant, and most of all, keep showing up and shining where you are. Because when your moment hits, it’ll be obvious why every “not yet” had to happen first.

Your waiting season isn’t wasted, it’s a training ground. Keep showing up even when it’s quiet. Keep shining even when it feels dark.
