Are you encouraging people?

Because if you are not doing at least one of those consistently, why would a podcast host trust you with their audience?

Let’s go deeper.

What problem does your book solve?

Does your content actually speak to that solution?

Or are you just saying, “Buy my book” with no evidence that you can help?

Social media is your audition tape.

It is your stage.

It is your proof.

People need a chance to know you, like you, and trust you before they lend you their mic.

And here is the real question, the one nobody likes to ask:

What is in it for them?

What value do you bring to their audience?

Podcast hosts are not doing charity work. They are curating value.

So instead of asking, “How do I get on podcasts?”

Ask, “Have I made it obvious why I belong there?”
